Atlanta is an observer at TMIS, graduated from the department of education. Atlanta found the uniqueness of the Montessori classroom and observed TMIS from a different angle…
“Montessori is a very elegant education method. Aesthetic is emphasized in a prepared environment; the adult’s mind always has to keep humble and enthusiastic about learning and life.”
【When can we help them?】
The teacher says that the first lesson the children learn is how to seek assistance. You can do other things before yelling “Teacher! He hits me!”.
– Ask him or her what happened.
– Ask three people you think might know what to do.
– Ask the teacher.
The children know how to seek help, hence, the older children help others more than treat others meanly in the classroom. If the older children do not know what to do, they will ask me, who quietly observes them. This is the time to test my helping ability.
