|TMIS – Upgrade Trip-Meeting|
The children in Taipei Montessori International School are used to “having meetings”. Two to three children have meetings with the teacher to solve conflicts, and the entire class has meetings to decide the class rules. The children listen to one another, respect one another, and adjust to one another to manage the learning environment together.
The grand event: a three-day upgrade trip for every third-grader also requires plenty of meetings. All the participants gather together for weekly meetings since last September. The children held the meeting by themselves and discuss every detail of the trip.
Communication is the essential ability to survive in society and the critical key for successful cooperation.
We learn to listen to each other and to express ourselves clearly. We can become better together via communication.
